Winter Buggy Policy and Routes

Holes 1/10 buggy route

The club will review on a daily basis, and the decisions in relation to golf buggy use and any restrictions will be jointly taken by the course manager and head green keeper.

The decisions will be made following consideration and if possible, make reasonable adjustments such as:
- Having clearly defined routes to identify sensitive areas
- Possibly introducing pathways in certain areas
- Limiting the number of available holes
- Implementing the 90 degree rule for traffic management (travel in the rough until level with your ball-but risk asses that route)
- Can only relate to those areas deemed to be dangerous/susceptible to damage, and not the whole course
- Must be reviewed on a daily basis, and such decisions recorded for inspection

During periods where it is necessary to introduce any form of restrictions the policy will include a traffic light style system with the following;

GREEN- no restrictions on where buggies go other than staying on paths around the course

AMBER- restrictions for buggies, a course sign will be displayed on the course information board in front of the clubhouse, the restrictions will be covered by a video of the route to take around the course, and this is available on the club website.
The club reserves the right to allow disabled players to use a buggy when use is closed to other players.
Members with disabilities need to provide written evidence from a medical professional to the course manager/club secretary who will register it at the club.
If and where there will be a reduction in the number of holes open for a buggy use, this will be included in the daily course information on clubV1/Howdidido app and the club website.

RED- Course closed to buggies.
